I believed Silent Orbits fits the Visual Novel genre, but having been subscribed to visual novel subreddit for a while now, seeing the games their users like, I started doubting if my game fits the genre. The whole story in my game is told via interactive text + illustrations, the whole plot is novel-size, but it's a sci-fi adventure with some rpg elements and have no "routes" for relationships with anyone. There is romance in the story, but it's quite a sad one and is not the main plot of the whole thing.
