Molly’s Backpack
Most items in Silent Orbits are functional. Tools, salvage, devices used for crafting or survival. Standard inventory behavior. A few objects work differently. These are personal artifacts. Not usable, but examinable. Interacting with them opens a short, text-based sequence - a log, a thought, a memory fragment. No rewards. Just context.
It doesn’t do anything. You can’t use it. But if you stop and look closely, Molly remembers something.

For example: a photo of the original crew. You can’t equip it. You can’t use it. But examining it lets Molly recall details about the people who were with her before everything changed. These interactions are optional. Some give insight into the past. Some hint at unfinished stories. Others exist only to be held for a moment and forgotten again.
This is what I want the inventory to feel like: part survival kit, part memory archive. A place where you manage your tools - and carry your ghosts.
